Bears hosted Eminence this afternoon in Greenville and won in 5 innings 13-3. This moves the Bears record to 15-0 with 7 games shortened by the mercy-rule. Trynt Tompkins went yard for his 7th home run of the season, Tompkins also leads the teams in RBIs (29) and triples (3). Ben Becker, Jake Dorris and Tompkins share the leaderboard with 5 doubles each. Becker also leads the team in walks (13).

The Greenville Bears are heading into their hardest 8 days of baseball prior to the Ozark Foothills Conference tournament.

On Friday, the team heads to the western part of the state to defend last year’s 1st Place finish in the Seymour Fall Invitational. It’s a 4-team field with Crane, Blue Eye, Greenville and host Seymour. The Bears will play two games on Friday and one on Saturday.

After a day of rest, the Bears host Lesterville on Monday, conference rivals East Carter and Clearwater on Tuesday and Friday, respectively, to end out their fall regular season.
