Lumberjacks Miss the World Series by One Game

After winning three pool-play games and the semi-final match in Lyons, Kansas, the Wayne County Lumberjacks, Missouri State Champs, fell short in the championship game vs Hopkins, Minnesota in the Midwest Plains Regional. Hopkins went on to Klamath Falls, Oregon, to represent the Midwest Plains in the Sr Babe World Series.
