Ben received an invitation earlier this month to play 1B/3B for MVP Baseball’s Team at the Triple Crown U.S. Championship in Glen Allen, Virginia, in late July 2015.
Shortly after signing on with MVP Baseball, Ben received a call from Chad Kreuter. Coach Kreuter was head coach at USC for four years after a 16-year major league career. Coach K is now Director of Player Development at MVP Baseball. As his player development coach, Coach K communicates with Ben via email, video and phone. Several times a week, Ben uploads a video of his hitting and Coach K evaluates his swing mechanics and provides specific drills to help him develop a more powerful, compact swing.
